Lady Raiders not looking past Rice

thought this was an ugly game. Parker had good numbers but started out poorly. MT should have stomped a mud hole in the rice women. Referees were stinking it up all night. It's a win and that's good enough til Saturday.

First time watching the women in person this year, a few thoughts: Rice was a bad team. The kind of team we used to beat by 30+. The lead got to 22 at one point and we never could get over that hump and let them hang around until the last minute or two. No killer instinct. Several of our girls looked really winded out there. CRI also mentioned this in the post game interview. He thought they might have violated curfew or something but I can't correlate curfew violations to being winded every time you go up and down the court. Seemed like a conditioning thing to me. Lastly, even on what seemed to be an off game, Parker is a beast. Really wish we could have had a year of her and Ebony together.
