Winnable game. FSU is a little bit fractured for some reason in the later part of the season, they've lost 3 of the last 5 including to Miami in the NCAAs (we lost to them 2x in regular season). They seem to be a bit unsteady. I think we win 71-69
They had some really good wins for most of the season. Saw where they barely lost to Notre Dame and we know how good they are. Was really glad that FSU did not end up a 4 seed with us a 13 or we would be playing on the opponent home floor AGAIN!
Only down 3 at the half. FSU turned it over a lot and has a few players in foul trouble.

Rick did the best he could with what he had to work with. He simply must find a way to recruit bigger, more talented girls to have any chance against the likes of Florida State going forward....
I was there and FSU was bigger but the ref's should have let FSU have saddles because they road the backs of our girls the entire game and were not called for it. Several of the fouls that were called on us were replayed on the big screen and looked suspicious. They stuck to Brea and Sissom like Velcro and their bigger post just had their way because the ref's would not call over the back calls on them. It's the NCAA and they know who they want in the sweet 16 and unless you can beat 8 players on the floor smaller schools have a hard road. Still very proud of the Ladies and the Men for taking the game out of the ref's hands by just out playing Michigan.
