"...Recently I was listening to Chris Childers on the ESPNU station on Sirius-XM. He & Rick Neuheisel were giving their thumbs up of certain teams's performances the previous weekend. Coach Rick extolled UMass for getting off the schneid against UConn.

Now the rub: Childers first congratulated UMass's head coach on the win as he was a classmate. If he had stopped there, I would have been fine with it. But, NOOOO! Childers is based in Nashville & had attended the Vanderbilt game in person. He went on a rant about how UConn couldn't get out of its own way & were an embarrassment to college football.

Childers is an alum of MIDDLE TENNESSEE STATE. It would be divine justice for the Huskies to proverbially say "Stick it Chris!"

So sad when MT alumns in the media have to play the game and fail to support MT or at least not say/do things to hurt their school.
 
UConn's only chance to win another game this season is Friday night.

UConn finishes the season, after a two straight open dates, @ Clemson and UCF and a home game against Houston
 
We are lucky tyler phommachanh is out for Uconn. He was really starting to look good and the team was looking better with him and then he had a season ending injury. The QB for them now is terrible, steven krajewski. He can hardly throw a forward pass. Uconn's MO is run the ball and play good defense.

They will try to shorten the game with the ground game, limit turnovers, and play good defense. They can beat us if they play sound football and do those things. They've been a piss poor team because they turn the ball over like crazy.

I like Uconn +15 here. A lot. I could easily see Middle TN losing this game if our defense doesn't show up.

We are the better team no doubt about it when we are on our A game. The problem is, this team only brings it's A game 50% of the time.

Thought about making it up to CT from NYC for this one but I’m just not interested in spending any more time than it takes to walk to my couch to watch the game.
