Found these stats...we are 91st in attendance as of today. We are 27th in increase in attendance which is nice.

27. Middle Tenn. 5,908 (2017) 5,183 (2016) 725 increase

Most likely we will finish around 6K, so the increase will be close to 1000 per game in just one year.

Here are CUSA averages...

12. Conference USA 14 teams - 224 games - 808,322 total - 3,609 average

Lets look at some history from MT...
1980 115. Middle Tenn. St. 13 54,500 4,192
1982 113. Middle Tenn. St. 13 55,000 4,231
1985 158. Middle Tenn. St. 16 47,750 2,984
1988 94. Middle Tenn. St. 19 103,920 5,469
1992 100. Middle Tenn. St. 11 61,900 5,627
2003 Middle Tenn. 14 35,362 2,526 (CKD first year)

While I do remember some capacity crowds maybe those were fewer than we believed looking at the averages...the year from early nineties to 2000 we were out of the top 100 and cannot find data.

I think you have to look at this realistically, thing are trending in the right direction - Check out Gonzaga...a good target for us is 7000 per year.

I know we all would like to see more butts in seats however they are trending in the right direction. There's excitement around men's BB. They win the big games and championships.
Football?

Win. Just win. Win big. Win at home. Win on the road.
Right now, MT FB season ticket prices doesn't match the quality of product on the field.

If we had the same capacity as Western we would sellouts quite often and the environment would be much better as oppose to our huge arena that fills empty even when we have 9,000 people there.

Nice work on those numbers!

Nice work on the numbers. Interesting to see the actual numbers as opposed to seeing some big time pictures from those years.
