Lots of wrong things going on in just one sentence:
1. It's FBS/FCS, not 1-A/1-AA
2. He was trying to insinuate that coming from a lower-division school means you're not as good
3. He thought MT was an FCS (1-AA) school
4. He made a typo in trying to make an inaccurate statement that we were 1-AA, and ended up describing us (sort of) correctly as 1-A.
Other than that, good interview!
