Looks like the early frontrunner for the WKU job is Paul Petrino.
Seems like an ok hire if it comes to pass. He did well at Idaho, which might have been the most impossible job in FBS.

Lane will last 1 year in Boca Raton before he bails on them for a more "prestigious" job with a new co-ed beach bunny on his arm and leaving FAU to deal with a handful of recruiting violations.

West will know what that feels like. I had a 45 yard line seat to watch his Memphis team get blown out in NOLA in 2007 for FAU's first ever bowl win. It was over by halftime. Rusty Smith absolutely lit them up. Sat back there and threw darts the whole game. Tommy fired his DC (Rick Kravitz) on the spot.
