UAB about to go down to winless Charlotte....

Disgusting.

UAB might pull it out now. TD came off the board for some reason for Charlotte which sent it to OT.

Even when we are in a bye week this team continues to sink to new lows

just wait til the Raiders roll into Charlotte and ring up another big L

Nah dude. We are entering the part of the season where Stockstill cleans up. Now that all the key games are over with, and all the cupcakes remain, it's go time.

We honestly probably won't lose another game, that is until we meet a MAC team in the Carribean Jerk Chicken Bowl or whatever.

Now you're being way too optimistic. :)

Just watch. Brent will play and we'll win every game. He is a much smarter player than Urzua and runs TF's system pretty well. He understands the RPO concept very well and also is very good at switching to run when enemy is in zone and switching to pass when they're stacking the box. As bad as our OL is, he masks it pretty well with his high IQ play, unlike Urzua and his bonehead decisions. The ODU and WKU games will obviously still be a struggle though. We'll clean UTEP & Charlotte's clocks though.

That is considering Brent will be healthy and able. It seems the type and severity of his injuries would suggest that his health would be first priority and consideration. Who knows how long he would last if he returned in a couple of weeks.

Our O-line is in such foul shape, I don't trust them to protect any QB on the roster. If Banks and Urzua are able to walk out there, let them absorb all the punishment and hits the rest of the season. Don't risk further injury to Brent for a couple of lousy games when no doubt he would not be in game shape.

I'm the last one that can throw stones in that glass house of pushing the body to extremes in youth without much thought to health impact years down the road. That being said, I really do hope Brent and coach stock are getting good medical counsel and placing Brent's long term health as the top priority.
