You want to bring in a guy in that was just busted for major NCAA violations, disgraced, and was banging escorts or setting them up for recruits?
His two years at Arky St as OC and HC he beat us 96-43.You want to bring in a guy in that was just busted for major NCAA violations, disgraced, and was banging escorts or setting them up for recruits?

45-19 at our place.
Reading all the posts and remembering the last 20 years of 1A/FBS, can sum it up with saying its “culture”. Culture defines who we are. Our core values. Our ambition. Our legacy. Everything. Our name is Middle Tennessee and sadly our sphere of engagement falls far well short of that geography in the 20 years of major college football. One proof is our flagship station cannot be heard clearly after sunset beyond the Veterans Parkway Kroger or Exit 89 on I-24. Also, have listened to WDUC FM in Southern Middle Tennessee in my car
and its signal is weak in Fayetteville not more than 22 miles by road from transmitter in Moore County. That’s not great for Southern Middle Tennessee. There’s never a problem anywhere in Middle Tennessee to listen to UT or Alabama Football. Every town up and down the FM and AM dial offers at least one UT station—from rebuilding years to National Champions (1998) they are there. Another is signage at businesses on game day, one cannot tell if there is game day today—no deep school spirit. Yes, one may see a few small 18 inch game day signs close to campus, but one has to be very perceptive or it’s missed. Maybe FCS is a better fit with our budget and culture? Beginning to see that. We’re competing with many worthwhile interests and people are speaking with their absence and lethargic on our product. Think we have to seriously look at the way forward after this year, especially if we don’t win or participate in the C-USA Championship in football. 13 years is a long time with the modest results we have. Hope this it’s a successful year for the coaches and team. Our next 3 weeks will speak volumes to our successes or failures for 2018 and what must be done to boost the health of athletics.
WDUC carried the pre game show last week and the brief post game comments. The post game call that follows the show was not aired. WDUC signal is strong in Shelbyville and Tullahoma, but doesn’t go far west clearly to places like Columbia. City coverage strength is important; for a typical fan will not struggle to pick up a MT game. I have difficulty with WGNS AM at night on a Bose Wave Radio; their FM has interference at times where I live. My GE Superadio does the job, but how many fans have one? Not sure about Basketball coverage.
I agree that if two adults want to exchange "favors" for money then they should be able to. I do no think they should, but that is none of my business. I do have issues with you not caring about him cheating because "Everybody in the SEC cheats." Who cares what everyone else does? If it is against the rules it is against the rules. If you do not like the rules work to change them, but as long as they are the rules you should play by them. So basically what I get from what you are saying is hire whoever to come in here and lie, cheat, whatever as long as we win football games? There is so much wrong with that outlook.Yes. Yes I do. I might be in the minority here but I see nothing wrong with prostitution. I will admit it's a bit cheesy he has a wife and kids and tried to play the whole Good-Southern-Christian-Family game, but whatever. Prostitution is legal in many countries, including our very own state of Nevada. If two consenting adults want to get down and exchange some $$$$, who the F cares?
With regards to cheating, he knew what he had to do at Ole Miss to win. Everybody in the SEC cheats. No doubt in my mind about that. I don't really care about what happened at Ole Miss. I care about what happened at Ark. St. because that's the level we are on.
Freeze did just fine at Arkansas State and know's what it takes to win at this level. I'm sure he's learned a lot from his Ole Miss experience and is itching for another chance. I'd love to give it to him. I would hire him in a heartbeat if I were AD, no questions asked.
