Smart man that Saban is....

Saban is simply enforcing a rule that the SEC has in place as a way of doing business... does CUSA have such a rule in place?

Enforcing a rule in place does not make a person smart- it does make them look consistent and professional instead of looking petty or spiteful.

He also doesn't allow his transfers to transfer to current or future opponents. There is no conference rule for that. Is he being petty and spiteful? No he's being smart.

There's also a waiver to get by that conference graduate transfer rule which basically all other SEC coaches utilize, except Saban. Did you even read the article?

I'll say it again, Smart man that Saban is. Total SEC and National domination.

I did indeed read it.. Saban doesn't block the kids from going to any university, including other SEC programs- he simply doesn't grant the waiver to play right away which is a conference rule- he's not obligated to grant the waiver so they'd have to sit a year.. Saban's been consistent the entire time with all of his transfers and that's a big difference that you're not seeming to comprehend..

I get you're still irritated about the Ole Miss bball transfers despite a coaching change for kids who hadn't even enrolled yet but Saban being an established coach making consistent decisions with established players isn't really apples to apple but..... carry on...

Yes. He set a winning, championship precedent. Smart man he is. We could learn a thing or two.

and FYI, for plain jane regular transfer that have not graduated....they can't go anywhere in conference or to any future opponent.
