Nick Vattiato with an high IQ play to draw a linebacker up (who was called for roughing the passer) and pushes the ball over the linebacker. Middlebrook catches it and carries it the distance. As Chris Collinsworth and the broadcast says, the play was "a little Mahomey." Extra point good.

Man that hit looked like it hurt the way his head went back. Ouch.

I have a feeling this will come down to the defense. Whichever one can actually get a stop for a change will win.

These, dbs won't put a hat o anybody. The corner could've made the tackle and gave an half azz effort

I don't give 2 sh!ts about where you are from. Any damn body can make a tackle if they are taught well. The defense is not running to the ball and are not using hand or footwork. They are high tackling and not staying low out of their stance. No fundamentals. This is being ALLOWED. There are D2 kids that can tackle. That has nothing to do with what's happening now.

Why are we struggling more defensively against LaTech than we did Memphis. Can we ever get a game where the O & the D play complimentary football? O has been sharp minus the turnover (ball protection issue).
