Clark. I mean, he resurrected that team from the dead and sold players on the future. Kiffen just showed up and his name attracted players. Not to diminish anything Kiffen did on the sidelines, but to me Clark is the man.
I think Kiffin is the more deserving...he took a 3-9 team and turned them into CUSA champs.
I like Clark, but they were able to get a ton of older guys, redshirt them, have them practice for 2 years. Lets see if he can sustain it. UAB won some game they shouldn't have.
I have come around to the POV that if you win the conference championship, you should be COY. Anything else makes it about as meaningful as a participation trophy.
