Very well respected Mock Draft site I follow (Was the only site to give Kevin Byard the credit he deserved last year) has Richie James the #29 WR and going 6th round - Free Agent.

#29
Richie James*, WR, Middle Tennessee
Height: 5-9. Weight: 180.
Projected 40 Time: 4.54.
Projected Round (2018): 6-FA.
12/30/17: James had 31 receptions for 290 yards and three touchdowns in 2017. He missed seven games during the sesaon season and didn't play after the Marshall game on October 20. James surprisingly declared early for the 2018 NFL Draft.

7/17/17: James is a small receiver, but he has been massively productive for Middle Tennessee over the past two seasons. James totaled 105 receptions for 1,625 yards with 12 touchdowns. The previous season, he had 108 catches for 1,346 yards with eight scores.

I don't understand why he came out. Makes no sense. Even if he gets injured again his senior year, he'll still just be a 6th round or UDFA type pick which is what he is now. Playing his senior year gives him an opportunity to have a big year and be a 2nd or 3rd round pick.

Coming out now, he's screwed.

Agreed. Barring a low 4.3 40, I don’t see him getting drafted above the 4th round (and I’m being generous). It’s far more likely at this point that he goes 5-undrafted
