I was reading about this a few days ago. What a mess! K-State needs to get their stuff together...

UNT beat writer on his blog makes some comments I thought were interesting...

women's basketball. In a real humdinger, Kansas State guard Leticia
Romero, the Big 12 freshman of the year, is looking to transfer and
asked for permission to speak with 94 schools. According to Sparks,
Kansas State denied her permission to speak with any of those schools,
but forgot to put one on the list. Yeah, MTSU.
So Romero is supposedly visiting Murfreesboro, which would in theory
give MTSU a great shot to sign the guard who averaged 14.2 points, 5.8
rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.9 steals per game.
Remember, MTSU pretty much goes to the NCAA tournament every year.
It's not like the cupboard is bare over there. I know that women's
basketball isn't big on the radar of most UNT fans, but that is a heck
of a break for the Blue Raiders if it works out like it appears as if it
might.....
