You Blue Raider fans can get off the ledge. So, Vandy is better in football. They are supposed to be. And Vanderbilt is obviously better in academics. They are supposed to be.
There is no need for an inferiority complex over it. MTSU serves the purpose it was meant to serve: a convenient and reasonably priced place to get more education. And is decent in sports... not great by any stretch but not horrible for a mid-major.
