This will be Part 2 of the battle between CUSA's 2 best women's programs. MT is playing its best combined offense & defense of the year while looking to build on its 8 game winning streak. FIU is looking to avenge its lone conference loss a 92-62 beat down by the Blue Raiders just 3 games ago.
The last 3 games Middle Tennessee has won by an average of 30 ppg over the Panthers. To maintain their Net Rankings progression MT needs to maintain its conference domination of its opponents where they are winning games by average of approximately 22 ppg. this season.
Something has to give this game. Will it be the Lady Raiders recent dominance of the Lady Panthers or FIU's will to compete against the hard charging Lady Raiders.

Another dominant win, this team is on a tear right now and Wheeler played so well today; she is impressive.

I don't care who steps up next year, Wheeler is irreplaceable. Good, hard fought win.

Wheeler is a tremendous player, but MT has had alot of tremendous players yet has found a way to replace them. Harrison will be as good as any PG we've had

Wheeler is playing the best of her career. Really improved her game since start of spring semester. She was always a good, but inconsistent offensive player. Very glad to see her becoming all that she can be now. She's on a mission.
To make us all feel better going forward about Harrison, word was prior to her injury it was acknowledged she was far & away the best player on the court. And that includes our 2000 point scorer Wheeler.
To put it like this. Hate to see Savannah Wheeler go, but can't wait to see a healthy Jada Harrison with Savannah Davis, J Gregory & Boldyreva on the floor together. And still bring in Iullia & Jada Grannum off the bench. Plus whoever else can be added to the roster.

A few teams are stepping up & pushing the Raiders to bring their A game which is a good thing. The last 2 games our opponents have come out punching & fighting. The Lady Raiders have responded with grit & fight. Major sign of good discipline & maturity.
This upcoming trip out west is huge. If all of our weapons come to play we should be ok next week. With a successful trip to NMSU & UTEP we have a great opportunity to move our NET into the 30's.

If you were lucky enough to see Harrison and Davis at the state tourney last, you'd realize that MT is in good hands. Harrison is the first legit 4 star player we've signed, pretty much spooked Blakely into transferring to a mid tier P4 with little PT. Davis will be the best shooter on the team next year.

Would love to see Grabo improve enough where they'd feel comfortable starting her depending on the matchup next season

Can't believe it, but WSMV's Chris Harris channel 4 sports finally showed the Lady Raiders some love tonight. Full highlights of today's game, & he finished off by stating the ladies need to be ranked.
