The Lady Raiders riding a 13 game winning streak welcome Sam Houston to the Glass House Sat afternoon. The team finally received some welcomed rest this past week. MT had just finished a 4 week stretch of games in which each of their opponents had a full week to prepare while our squad had to play multiple games each week.
It could be hard not to overlook a struggling Sam Houston club this week. The Raiders biggest conference matchup of the year will be looming with a tough Liberty Flames team awaiting us in Lynchburg next week. But with only 2 games left at home look for a well rested Lady Raiders unit to put on another good show this weekend.

We've struggled a bit offensively the last few weeks as all our opponents have been giving us their best efforts. With a week off to rest today will be a good opportunity to get our offense back on track. Would like to see us put 80 or more on the board again today.

This was a fantastic win. Really played through the adversity of the bearkats making some wild shots. Ta’Mia was outstanding and so was Jalynn and Nas. Overall great game

Big take away was Gregory getting over her little slump. Could see her confidence was totally back in the 4th quarter. We need to be back on all cylinders with Liberty coming back from down 21-9 at UTEP. They totally dominated last 3 quarters in El Paso to win going away.

Didn’t really play well until late in game. Kind of hard to complain about offense when you score this much but it was really sluggish for 3 quarters. Defense also gave up some easy buckets although SH shot well for 3 quarters. Think we will need to put together 4 solid quarters in each of the next 2 games to remain undefeated. Wouldn’t be surprised if we lost one but hopefully they will be hungry for a perfect conference record.

I had no idea Courtney Whitson chose between MT and Mizzou. She definitely made the right choice, and boy are we glad she did!
