I’m sitting right below the Jumbotron. Watched that first TSU touchdown develop and Blankenship just flat whiffed.

TSU really showed up. One of the better crowds I’ve seen in a LONG time. I left at the half and am presently slurping down a dozen raw at Toots on West 96. $15 a doz. ain’t bad.

TSU is not that good. Everyone in the stadium knew Franklin was gonna take that shot deep after the 2nd Blankenship pick.......Except the TSU secondary.

TSU's defensive backs are terrible. Pretty clear the staff felt like we could throw the ball on them at will but it is surprising the actual low number of run plays.

Scott Shafer's playcalling is really, really questionable sometimes. I don't understand why we are so aggressive against a team that we clearly could play safe against and be successful. Those A gap blitzes are just silly on expected run downs.

I can live with Franklin's pass happy game plan for this TSU game but I really don't understand why Shafer is so aggressive against such an inferior opponent.

No, they're not. TSU is garbage and will be lucky to win 6 games this year. They're a middle of the pack OVC team with a couple of good players...that does not make them a good team.

This is a pathetic performance and regardless of the outcome this team has a long, LONG ways to go if they plan on reaching the all-important "bowl eligibility" mark.
