BASKETBALL Middle Tennessee (12-5, 3-1) vs WKU (11-6, 2-2), (ESPN+). 6PM, Saturday, January 18, 2025

You’re a dinosaur if you think 18-22 yo athletes think like you or I once did.. whether you like it or not kids these days want to feel appreciated for what they do- not for what previous teams did.. you talked about checking out in your fandom many times and it’s clear you’re simply a hater to the bone.. if you think kids are not entitled these days you’re extinct and clueless.. this team doesn’t care about the past- nor should they as it won’t help them win games now
Their "entitlement" entitles me to not give a shit and not come to games to watch prima donna's. It's kinda of like Lebron spewing his politics. No one is paying him for his political opinions. I don't need 18-22 year olds who are now being paid to play to tell my why I should do something they think I should be doing, which let's just be real here for a moment. It isn't about the fan base at all. It's basically "hey I'm doing good now, look at me. I need more people looking at me." LMAO. That's literally all that is. So, the irony here is that the one who is clueless is yourself if you think the arena should be fuller. Clearly the fan base has already spoken and made your perspectives as worthless as players telling the fans what they should do with their time.

I’m not sure what you expect them to do to “earn” having people support them in person at the arena beyond winning and creating a culture of community. I personally am flying down from NYC for both the ladies game at 2 and the men’s at 6, driving to one after the other. I’m going because I am excited they’re both having good seasons and putting an entertaining product on the court in my view. The fact that you think people are clueless for saying the team deserves better crowds shows that you’re not the kind of person who they want there anyway

Ahead of Saturday's big basketball showdowns between WKU and MTSU, the two schools are teaming up to launch the "100 Miles of Hoops" donor challenge. From now until February 14, the two schools will compete to see which fanbase can rally the most support this basketball season.
