I was a freshman in fall of 1976. Mike Moore was about all that team had going for it. Ben Hurt. Ugh.
He was a bright spot on some not-so-good teams. Ran very hard...too bad he did not play for Boots instead of the big Hurt

Very disappointed by the obit in this morning's Tennessean, although I recognize that's a family matter which could be influenced by finances.
Regardless, I wish there was a way for MT athletics and those who contributed to be more broadly recognized.
