Congratulations Gentlemen, the night is over and the sun rises tomorrow. We made it through the off season.

Obviously next Saturday is the big one, but if you are like me you are starved for CFB. I will be watching Rice vs Prairie View tomorrow night and feeling like order is restored in the galaxy.

GO BLUE.

Ok, gotta get my picks in...

Rice
Umass
Colorado St. - They will cover the 14.5 spread at home
Wyoming in a close one although New Mex st. could take it with Wyoming replacing their QB.

Well I was technically 3-1 but Wyoming posterized NMSU. Man, what happened to Colorado St.? Hawaii treated them like they played us in the Hawaii bowl. CSU made a run to get back in it but Hawaii basically took their foot off the gas. So good to have CFB again. Thursday night is gonna feature like 14 games in FBS alone I think. It's a lot. Friday will be like 7 more. Bring it on.

Prairie View came within 3 points of Rice. It's going to be another long year for the Owls.

Rice is going to struggle this yr. Trying to implement a Stanford style pound & ground without the same level of players plus a porous pass D is going to lead to a tough year.

Bloomgren better be able to recruit.

Rice had to come back with a game winning FG with no time on the clock to get the W too. Yeah, it's gonna be a tough year but they lead CUSA in the standings for a week. :)

I think Rice is pretty bad, but PV A&M has been pretty decent for an HBCU for a few years. Prairie View was notoriously bad for quite awhile, but recently got a new stadium to play in.Willie Simmons did a good job there before moving on to Florida A&M. It was the first game of the season and maybe Rice will improve as the season goes along. Just thankful the panthers didn't beat the owls and give the conference a black eye it doesn't need.

It was PV's wide left that was tearing Rice up. Oregon transfer that was a 4* coming out of high school. Rice will suck again, but PV was no push over.

Had PV +20 all day long. Wasn't looking good in the 1st quarter but they had a monster 2nd q. I thought PV could win the game, and they almost did.

Was a silly spread. Rice is bad, PV has been solid FCS team and returned a ton of starters. Inter-state game so you know they are gonna bring it. Getting 20 points was a gift from god himself.
