Just happened to notice that Mike Organ seems to be writing all the VU articles recently in The Tennessean. Hope nothing is wrong with the Former DNJ MT beat writer (who incidentally for those uninitiated is a MT grad, Boro resident (last I heard) and good guy.
Anyone know anything?

I'm not sure if he made this public knowledge, but he's take a medical leave.

Adam has had a couple of surgeries lately. Not sure what for but I think he is recovering nicely.

He has mentioned on tweeter that he has had a couple back surgeries. Sounds like his recovery has not been a smooth one.

Back surgery is often "guess work". May or may not work as intended and complications are frequent. I would recommend finding a surgeon who doesn't think a scalpel can solve every back problem.

And I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Yeah he had back surgery and then had some pretty gnarly complications that landed him back in the hospital for a second surgery.

Last I saw he said his recovery now has been up and down.
