  • Marina Asensio, Western Michigan G (5-8 JR)
    • Played on same club (Segle XXI) as HS signee Nicole Dominguez in Spain. Averaged 14 ppg on 38% 3FG.
  • Lanae Riley, Akron F (6-0 JR)
    • Former Lady Raider. Played in 29 games in '23-'24 averaging 8 points, 4 rebounds with 43% 3FG. Played in just 6 games LY due to injury.
  • Courtney Dahlquist, Campbell F (6-3 SR)
    • Played 4 years at Campbell and started all 35 games for WNIT team Campbell. Averaged 10 ppg on 37.5% 3FG. Not your typical big but has solid rebounding numbers.
  • Claudia Langarita, Cal F (6-4 SR)
    • Played 2 seasons at Cal, but prior was a WCC All-Freshman for San Francisco. She averaged over 10 ppg for the Dons. Birthplace is Spain which may add some international ties back to our current roster.
  • Maya Peat, Texas Tech C (6-5 SR)
    • Played just 10 minutes/game for Texas Tech with 3 points, 2 rebounds. She played 3 seasons at Arkansas-Pine Bluff where she is the program's record holder in career rebounds. Over three seasons she averaged 9 points, 7 rebounds per game at UAPB with 15 career double-doubles.
  • Hilke Feldrappe, Missouri F (6-3 SO)
    • Played in over 50 games in her two seasons at Mizzou averaging over 8 minutes/game. Played for Team Germany in last summers U20 EuroBasket and averaging 8 points, 4 rebounds across 7 games.

2 Healthcare conspiracy theories

Wiley especially, I would like your thoughts...
1. We already have a cure for ebola... The doctor that caught it while in Africa on aid cured himself about 5 years ago if I recall.
2. The cure for cancer is not truly being sought after by highly driven means. It has become such a big money-maker that those developing treatments would rather do so for a buck.
Just a couple of things I had in my mind today. Don't know why.

BASKETBALL MBB PORTAL THREAD

Jaye Nash is a player MTSU has reached out to. As a true freshman at Tulsa, did not really produce much but was a heralded recruit. The point guard was a true freshman so did not play with Jarred Hall. Played senior season at McEachern with Ace Bailey and co., but before that was an in-state standout at Briarcrest Christian in Memphis
