XC Men to NCAA National Championships

Very disappointing. I guess by now we should get use to often failing to show when anticipating an overachieving finish at an event where MT could get some national notoriety.
Both the individuals and the team finished far below their national rankings (which I assume are based on earlier times this year). Article on goblueraiders.com makes an attempt to blame the weather but gotta think the weather was the same for all participants.
At least CC is so far down the list of sports fans concerns this poor showing will be little noticed by MT detractors.
