When does the new DNJ beat reporter start?

Maybe then I'll start getting just a little coverage in The Tennessean.

Not one report on C-USA media days although there have been articles from the OVC.
Yesterday the lead article in The Tennessean's sports page was on the top games to see this year from UT-K, VU, and Memphis (freeking Memphis). Oh yeah, MT was mentioned but only because of the MT game on West End.

I hate that "dead tree" media is dying; I hate it even more that as Gannett is in it's death throws it has decided all coverage of MT in the sports page is expendable.

Does it really matter who our beat writer is? Regardless of who is the writer, we will be subject to a plethora of stories about UT, Memphis and even Vanderpuss in our LOCAL paper. What a worthless piece of crap it is.

I would think we'll start to see something this week or later, but given the decline in quality coverage with each passing dnj beat writer, I'm not going to hold my breath on better coverage.
