In Birmingham, AL, MT beat Samford 9-1 behind Shay Horseman's 6 innings and allowing just 4 hits. Rawley Bishop had 3 RBIs.

2-21-07:
In Birmingham, AL, MT manged just 4 hits in a 3-1 loss to Samford.

2-22-07: In Troy, AL, the Raiders (12-16, 7-10) lost to Troy 73-70 despite a career high 26 points from Kevin Kanaskie.

2-23-07: In Murfreesboro, MT beat Bowling Green 11-4 behind 2 HRs from Matt Ray. Ray homered from each side of the plate.

2-24-07: In Murfreesboro, MT (13-16, 8-10) stopped a 5-game losing streak and finished the regular season with a 79-59 win over FAU. On senior night for Tim Blue and Kyle Young, the Raiders scored a season-high 79 points. Kevin Kanaski had 11 assists to become the 1st Raider to have 3 double-figure assist games in the same season.

Also in Murfreesboro, the Raider baseball team scored 10 runs in the final 4 innings, but it wasn't enough in a 14-12 loss to Bowling Green.

2-25-07: In Murfreesboro, the Raiders lost the series finale, 8-6 to Bowling Green.

2-22-97:
In Murfreesboro, on Senior Night for Roni Bailey, Nod Carter, Torrey Moore and Chad Wampler, the Raiders (18-11, 11-7) beat Tennessee-Martin 96-71. Roni Bailey matched his career high of 28 points and the allowed MT to be a host in the opening round of the OVC tournament.

In Auburn, AL, MT baseball opened the season by being swept 4-1 and 11-7 by 18th ranked Auburn.

2-23-97: In Auburn, AL, the Raider baseball team fell 9-3 to Auburn. Ryan Dillard had two RBIs for MT.

2-25-97: In Murfreesboro, MT (19-11) beat Southeast Missouri State 88-74 in the first round of the OVC tournament. The Raiders had 22 point lead cut to 5 before they regained control and earned their first tournament victory since beating Eastern Kentucky in 1991. Nod Carter led MT in scoring with 25 points as the Raiders avoided a third loss to SEMO this season.

In Tuscaloosa, AL, the MT (0-4) lost 12-5 to Alabama. Clay Snellgrove hit a 2-run homer in the 7th inning to give the Raiders a 5-3 lead, but it was short lived.

In Richmond, KY, Eastern Kentucky's Jeff McGill hit a 28-foot jumper with 5 seconds remaining, to give EKU an 89-86 win over the Raiders (20-5, 10-3). Dwayne Rainey led MT with 19 points.

2-23-87: In Morehead, KY, the Raiders (21-5, 11-3) beat Morehead State 84-74, to win the OVC championship and the host role for the OVC tournament. Randy Henry led MT with 27 points and 11 rebounds.

2-25-87:
In Nashville,TN, the Raider baseball team lost the season opener, 11-2 to Vanderbilt.

2-25-67: In Clarksville, TN, the Raiders (10-14, 4-9) beat Austin Peay 78-72, led by 21 points from Willie Brown.
