. . . this past Sunday giving their All-Midstate athletes of the year and Spring Teams.

Realizing that this is for spring teams (no FB or BkB unless chosen as athletes of the year), approximately half the athletes are female (not a bad thing), and many of these athletes participate in sports not played at the school supported on this site I nevertheless compiled a list of the 40+ athletes who had either signed or committed to a college or university:

Lipscomb - 5
UT-K and VU - 4
UA-Tuscaloosa - 3
UT-C, Clemson, Furman, & Auburn - 2
Ga. State, Miss. St., College of Charleston, UVA, UNC, ETSU, Rhodes, Wright St., Wofford, Sewanee, Centre, Navy, Radford, UNA, UAB, LSU, and Colorado - 1 each.

Not that this particular list denotes anything and is quite possibly an anomaly but do you notice anything?

Starting to believe our university just has fatal flaws that will always keep it from appealing to the mid-state area. And if you can't win over the locals, you sure as hell are not going to win over any other geographical regions.

Our university just has too many things working against it. Too many problems & issues to even list. Literally a perfect storm of anti-growth and anti-interest factors that contribute to the most pathetic local support/local recognition/local acknowledgement I have ever seen.

Sad.
