Yes. The largely inept television commentators even said that should have been a penalty and said it likely would be reviewed by the league office.

Not a minute into the game and we knew the refs were crap. They were confused and really looked lost. I'm one that believes refs have a difficult job and the majority get it right. The crew in Birmingham were bush league.
