Just watching the NBA Draft some and can’t help but wonder why we have never had a draft pick to my knowledge. Just seems we would have gotten lucky once. We have had some very good college players. Does anyone think we have a player on the current roster with a shot at being drafted?

Lenard depending on his continued development. He’s the highest upside potential player I think we’ve had in 20 years.
The window for the NBA is just so small.

No and with transfer rules what they are I doubt we could keep an NBA talent on the roster if we ever lucked out and found one.
Duane Washington 2nd rd, is the highest ever for MT. There were 11 more plyers drafted....

Thanks for that. I was 6 when the last MTSU player was drafted. I agree Lenard probably has the highest ceiling, but his shooting will have to vastly improve for him to even be considered.
