I certainly expect this game to be a battle. What gives me optimism though is that coach stock seems to take good advantage of the bye week before playing a big conference game the last few years. Some of MT's bigger conf wins have come at home after bye weeks if I recall correctly. Even so, those wins were still close. So, MT will have to play exceedingly well. In general, I see some cause for optimism for this game. It will be a battle, but I'm hopeful MT can come out on top. It may be another one of those OT thrillers.

If I'm not mistaken, one of WKU's starting CBs will be out for the 1st half due to a targeting ejection in the 2nd half vs LaTech.

It's going to come down to the running game in my opinion. If we cannot run the ball, we cannot win the game. We know both teams can throw it all over the field, but whoever has the better running game will win on Saturday.
