All the fans have their sights on the WKU game ? I hope the team is 100% focused on THIS game. I'm a little nervous…

excerpt:

...Middle Tennessee State hasn't been putting up the lopsided numbers we
saw a year ago but they are doing it often enough and they are by Browse to Save">winning
consistently. It's hard to argue that the Sun Belt is the Blue Raiders
to win or lose as they have racked up victories in nine of ten after
blowing out Louisiana-Lafayette. When MTSU gets their scoring and
defense on the same page they are tough to handle as the Ragin' Cajuns
learned when they were held to less than 39% from the floor while the
home team hit at 46.2% including a decisive ten long balls. Kerry
Hammonds was the offensive star of the game with 27 points on 10-11 from
the floor with Raymond Cintron adding 12 points while Marcos Knight and
Shawn Jones scoring nine each with Jones grabbing ten boards.

North
Texas lost some talent to graduation and it's effected them in the win
column. The Mean Green lost some scoring punch and the defense hasn't
been able to make up the difference. UNT is 4-6 over the last ten
contests and need to turn things around quickly before they become an
afterthought in a packed conference were there are many middle of the
row squads. North Texas did pick up a 61-59 overtime win at Florida
Atlantic in a defensive struggle. The Owls connected at 36.8% with the
visitors checking in at 38.3% with the main difference being the Mean
Green's 23-10 edge at the foul line. Tony Mitchell was the offense with
24 points and eight rebounds, with by Browse to Save">Jordan Williams adding 14, while Roger Franklin netted 12 points with seven pulls.......

Yeah I think it will be a dog fight

I like the odds of the team being focused tonight. I expect we will play well but am fearful of NT finally having a game where a bunch of things click. I think it will be a competitive game. Hoping for the W!

Road test = tested. And, if I'm not mistaken, I heard the "It's Great to Be from Middle Tennessee" chant on the radio. I wonder how many fans we had there?

EDIT >> The win against North Texas DROPPED our RPI according to RPI Forecast, down to 33 from 32. http://www.rpiforecast.com/live-rpi.html

We need FL and Miss to keep on winning, along with Akron and Belmont.

I have a feeling we will be fine, its OUR time, OUR year!

I hope we win the tournament and handle our own business, but right now I wouldn't mind seeing Belmont drop a game or two just to avoid a scenario of us being in contention with them for a final at large bid. Our head-to-head loss to them will look really ugly in that scenario. Really hope Ole Miss can keep it rolling. Would love to see them go toe-to-toe with Florida for the SEC title.

All that said, let's keep handling our own business and close the deal in Hot Springs!
