Franklin has done a better job of pushing the ball down the field than Buster. It's helped to open up running lanes and made the quick/screen game more effective.

Indeed. This was my #1 complaint with Buster and his offense. We rarely threw it down the field which as you know really hamstrings an offense. There's a reason Arkansas State is 0-4, just lost to an FCS squad, and isn't scoring very many points despite a somewhat talented QB.

It seems that most of the UNT people and their beat writer think this game will be very close. They seem pretty confident for a team that it's best win is a 0-4 Rice team.
