Kelly has been much better catching/holding onto the ball the last 2 games. He's dynamic with the ball in his hands. Need to keep feeding him and Willis. Run enough to keep the D honest.

Kelly is much improved but the issue is still the OL. We get runs in bursts but then barely hit a yard or two the next few. Credle's longest was 13yds. His other seven carries netted only 26yds.

We just don't have the OL. Again. Nick threw for 297, but 99 were on two plays. We are hurt on the OL yes, but major changes need made in the off-season or we won't keep the D honest next year either.

Same for our defense. DL is decent, but gets gassed quickly due to our offense and bad return coverage. Behind the DL tackling is awful, especially with missed tackles which is super frustrating because that has nothing to do with talent. It is 100% teachable. Special teams has the same issue. And we've been saying those same sentences since TTU. That's just crazy.

It is a combination of things where one hole can't be plugged without the other at the same time. And right now we just don't have the players both in quantity and talent to do that. Question is are these coordinators the answer to fix those problems.

If they are spending excessive amounts of time on tackling and they miss the most tackles they've missed all season (and we’re talking into the dozens) and allowed 400 yards rushing maybe a sign we have the wrong coaches.

Not gonna disagree, but could be wrong players as well. I don't know one way or the other.
But even Saban can teach a Safety what to do, but if they don't listen then he'd just bench them. Problem is we don't have the depth to bench anyone.
