Justice Scalia's replacement...it must be delayed....

I agree, delay it so Hillary or Benie can nominate Obama. Then all the tea baggers can have a coronary and speed up the process of evolution

Yeah, because a judge that upheld constitutional law would want us to break the law and delay something like a Supreme Court Justice nomination...good grief what an idiot.

Obama has every right to make a nomination. The Senate has every right to confirm or not confirm the person nominated. Both Obama and the Senate were elected by the people. Checks and balances.

Randall, you're right; the Republican-led Senate has every right to not confirm any Supreme Court nominee--just as the Democrat-led Senate rejected Robert Bork back in the '80s. Elections have consequences....

There is a difference between voting down a nominee and a PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE calling for no nominee for MONTHS. It's crap and you know it...

Also saying you will not approve any candidate regardless of qualifications is slap in the face to the constitution and an abuse of the power it grants. There are over 300 days left in his term. The average SCOTUS Nomination process takes 80 days. The longest ever has been 125. They could reject two and still have time to approve the nominee. To suggest other wise is absurd. While it is unfortunate timing for cons the constitution is clear. For you religious folks this is clearly God's plan...
