Beyond the obvious being a good football player, there seems a lot to like about that young man. Respect of family i.e. respect for his mom, he has goals and direction, wants to be the best, some good intelligence shows through even in a brief online video interview. Also, gotta respect a young man who has loyalty to at least seriously consider a team that is a family fave (I would assume he would've grown up a fan) even though said team may not be the biggest name or most popular on the national scene.
As an aside, these type of young outstanding players are a good reminder why coach stock always emphasizes how a player can accomplish any goal at MT as at any other school i.e. NFL Draft which Byard is the best most recent example.
