Some congratulations are due to some former Blue Raiders.

Former Blue Raider Wide Receiver Walt Bell (2002-2005) was just named Head Coach at UMASS

and

Former Blue Raider Center Glen Elarbee (1998-2001) was named as a semifinalist for the Broyles Award recognizing him as one of the top assistant coaches in the country for his work as the offensive line coach at UCF this season.

It seems like their is a growing group of former Blue Raider players and coaches to keep an eye on.
Both of these were a delight to see on the field and glad to see both experiencing this level success.
Congratulations!

So glad Walt got out of the dumpster fire that is FSU right now. UMass is a tough job though. If he is successful, he makes $175,000 less than Stock at UMASS (in case Stock retires anytime soon).

you don't think he jumped into a bigger dumpster fire, without having a conference affiliation, crap home stadium? umass stadium makes floyd look like the Taj Mahal
