Kingaling42 hit the nail on the head. Elias King has really nice catch and shoot ability. But he’s got a ways to go in other essentials like defense and ball handling.

He made headlines this offseason from being a former top 150 recruit. Unfortunately, holding him to that expectation is no longer reasonable. He’s still young, seems like a good kid, and can be a serviceable player one day. Not sure if he can ever be a star in D1 college basketball. Not anytime soon at least.
