BASKETBALL Big east

I saw an article that said the Big East would be interested in taking Uconn and all there non Football related Sports. I'm not sure if another league would take their FBall program or if they would go independent.

I wonder if there would be a way for MT to do something similar with our non football related programs. Hell I would happily put our Football in the MAC or Suck Belt for a chance to have our B Ball teams playing in a better league than this CUSA BS.

Also our B Ball team has the opportunity to be our cash cow from an exposure stand point. I love football, but you gotta ride the horse that got you to the show.

Your dreaming...FB drives the bus for us... as good as our team in BB has been they have no leverage for a UConn type of deal.

I agree with the sentiment. I love football but we'll always be second teir no matter what we do.

Look how much media coverage we're getting right. Hard to get that in football.

I think our conference just needs to put a bigger emphasis on basketball. We've already got tradition rich basketball programs.
