BASKETBALL 50

Tonight was our 50th C-USA win (including conference tournaments) since joining the league in 2013-14.

Raiders are 50-19 in C-USA play. Only teams we don't have at least a .500 record against are UAB (3-5), Louisiana Tech (0-4), and Tulsa (0-2).

We are 47-8 against everyone else.

The 50-19 record (.725) ranks only behind Louisiana Tech (.754). If Tech loses tonight at UAB and we can beat them on Saturday, MT and Tech will be in an essential dead heat in the race for best record since we entered the league.

What's sort of crazy about LaTech's record and success in C-USA basketball is that I don't think they've had any NCAA appearances during their successful run in C-USA. A bunch of NITs these last 4 or 5 years I seem to remember.

Last night's win at UTSA was the 100th road win under Coach Davis and pulled the Raiders to an even 100-100 on the road during his career here.

In conference road games he is 74-51 (.592). In OOC road games he is 26-49 (.347).

Since the 11-12 season, the Raiders are 50-28 (.641) in true road games.
