Which gubernatorial candidate best for MT?

After seeing Randy Boyd's 2nd commercial with him wearing an Urenge shirt I just thought I'd ask. Do any of the candidates for governor (R or D) have any connection to MT or is there any other reason to think they would be good for our school?

Keeping normal politics out of it is one better for MT?

While I tend to vote for the Rs, those ads piss me off so want be voting for Boyd

I have no idea who would be best for r MT.

Not sure it really matters. When was the last time a governor was here for a athletic event? Winfield Dunn and the the 1972 Murphy Center Opening Game? Frankly was surprised as utk-centric as Haslam is that the Science Bldg got done, seeing how the utk president wanted to bypass that as #1 priority for his pet utk projects.
