The winning score came in the final minute when Ken Caplenor caught a 12 yard pass from Billy Walker at the 23 yard line and immediately lateraled to Bob Hlodan, who went untouched the final 23 yards. Billy Walker had a rushing touchdown and another TD pass to Hlodan. Hlodan would be named the OVC Offensive Player of the Week.
