In Boca Raton, FL, the Raiders (7-9, 3-3) beat FAU 72-68. MT trailed by 3 at the half and led by 14, midway through the 2nd half, but had to hold off a comeback. FAU hit back-to-back 3-point shots in the final 15 seconds but the Raiders hit 6 consecutive free throws, 4 by Nigel Johnson. Kevin Kanaskie was the leading scorer with 19 points and a career high 12 assists.

1-13-07:
In New Orleans, LA, the Raiders (8-9, 4-3) won their 4th straight conference road game, defeating New Orleans 76-67. Desmond Yates led MT with 21 points.

In Murfreesboro, Malachi Allen tipped in a Torrey Moore miss with 1.1 seconds remaining to give the MT (10-4, 3-1) a 72-70 win over Tennessee State. Richard Duncan led MT scorers with 12 points.

1-11-97: In Murfreesboro, the Raiders (11-4, 4-1) outscored Tennessee Tech 21-5 in the first eight minutes of the second half to build a 20-point lead, then held off a rally to win 80-72. It was MT's first home-win over Tech since the 1991-92 season. Torrey Moore led MT with 23 points.

In Murfreesboro, the Raiders (9-2) beat Kennesaw College 98-70 as Randy Henry scored a career high 25 points.

1-10-87: In Murray, KY, Duane Washington was 6 of 6 on free throws in the final 24 seconds to end a potential comeback by Murray State, and the Raiders (10-2, 2-0) won 64-57. Randy Henry led MT with 16 points.

1-12-87: In Clarksville, TN, the Raiders (11-2, 3-0) beat Austin Peay 94-88 despite a 43-point game by the Governor's Lawrence Mitchell. Duane Washington led MT with 20 points.

1-8-77:
In Johnson City, TN, the Raiders (9-2, 1-0) outscored East Tennessee State 19-4 in the last 10 minutes, to win 52-51. Bob Martin and Greg Joyner led MT in scoring with 18 and 17 points respectively.

1-10-77:
In Cookeville, TN, the Raiders (10-2, 2-0) overcame an 11-point deficit to beat Tennessee Tech 73-68. There was some controversy late in the game. With 18 seconds left and MT ahead 69-68 a foul was called on Tech, with several players going to the floor. The home team and one official said that Bob Martin was fouled but after the officials got together, MT's Leroy Coleman was sent to the line. The freshman hit both shots and finished with a career high 16 points. Greg Joyner was MT's leading scorer with 17 points.

In Cookeville, TN, the Raiders (6-4, 1-1) fell 82-71 to Tennessee Tech. Bobby Gardner led MT with 23 points.

1-14-67:
In Murfreesboro, MT (6-5, 1-2) lost 91-67 to Morehead State. Willie Brown led Raider scoring with 16 points.

The 1-10-47 game against Spring Hill was in Spring Hill, AL. The MT media guide lists this as a loss but the DNJ report at that time, said we won.

The 1-9-37 game against Vanderbilt was in a building called the "Hippodrome."
