Not sure if he's totally wedded to the flexbone or not...though I think he was also big in running the ball when he was a fcs coach before he went to ga so.

He's been running a spread option attack from his time at Sam Houston State. Fun offense to watch

It's easier to recruit for too which is why PJ ran it there, Navy and at GT. Paul Johnson is the father of it in the modern era. All of his former coaches who run it now are successful.
