Every school is like that now. Go look at the portal. Sheesh. Also, go look at who they just brought in. JuJu is a 5 star QB with a ton of other dawgs. They haven't even hit the portal yet. I watched CU all year. I hardly watched us at all. I'd take their "drama" everyday over this BS. Jerry Mack is about to dominate this league and our dumba$$ admin picked an out of work coach who can talk but so far doesn't even offer a glimmer of hope in terms of results.

They will be good. It doesn't take much to beat up on the Big 12. They'll never contend for anything meaningful outside of a Big 12 championship. But realistically for Colorado, that's pretty good. He will likely get a better job somewhere in a few years, and they will revert to the mean.
He won't be able to "out talent" everyone if he ever steps up into the SEC or Big 10. Now that will be an interesting thing to see. I don't believe the coaching chops are there. His coordinators are decent, but nothing special imo. When you have talent a lot of things can be hidden.

Yes winning matters first. But the money he has brought CU via media exposure, enrollment increases, donations, tickets, etc have done wonders. Their AD went from not having the money to pay all of his first contract to this.

104.5 just reported Colorado football last year had an economic impact of $94 million on Boulder city alone, & a $146.5 million impact on the total region surrounding Boulder.

They just stockstilled themselves, he is 1 game above .500, he will be coaching with out his generational talent Hunter, Horn, his sons, the safety Sillman-Craig, his team will not be good and to double his salary is something that middle would do. He has earned top 10 money.
I’m a major Deion critic, I think he is a great recruiter, but not the best with coaching. However, even I have to defend him a little here. He has a lot of talent to replace Hunter and his sons. He will still struggle with the lines. He will get them to 7-10 wins a year but I wouldn’t expect more. That is good enough for Colorado though.
We shall see. They reloaded at WR. They have Salter and JuJu at QB which has already generated a lot of excitement at camp. JuJu is special. Their O-Line coaches are an upgraded over who they had. The S&C coach is an upgrade. Their D line coach with Sapp have reloaded DL talent. Oh, they got Marshall Faulk at RB coach. That's 3 gold jackets on the coaching staff.

We can't fill a pre-school classroom at our stadium. I would take Deion in a heartbeat. We screwed up on Eddie George so Bowling Green gets to benefit. As for Stockstill comparison. In 22, we won 8 games and a bowl with a win over Miami. We would kill for that right now with Mason. I don't see it happening.

Went from 1 win to 9 in 2 seasons with a Heisman winner. Sold out 12 home games with 25 season tix already sold out. All that money he got, he earned it in exposure because we talking about him on our board. Colorado is making bank off of him. In fact, Sanders has literally brought in the money to pay himself. CU didn't have it before he got there.
Also, Stockstill was about as exciting as a corpse and couldn't fill 1/4 of the stadium.
