USM is a has been. Middle has done more for this conference recently then the crap bowls we send our teams.

Yeah, that list is garbage.
Here are your top contributors to the conference on the field or courts....
1. WKU (2 football championships and 31 wins since they became a member in just 3 seasons) Good women's BB too.
2. Middle Tennessee (back to back CUSA championships in men's BB and back to back second round NCAA tourney appearances, like 2-3 titles in Women's BB and a football team that hasn't had a losing season since 2011. People can say whatever but we contribute a lot and have since we joined. Haven't had a year when we haven't.
3. LaTech - Good contributor all over the board. If it wasn't for our 2 back to back B-Ball championships and success in the NCAA tourney, they would leap frog us.
4. ODU - Coming up in FB and competes well in all of their other sports too.
5. Marshall - They have done a lot in FB in the past but are slipping.
6. USM - Meh - Getting better in FB and had to cheat to be good in BB. They are just there I guess like a genital wart. Most of the time they are dormant and then they have an occasional breakout.
7. UAB - I like them better than the rest
... and now for the "Why in the hell are they in our conference?" category.
8. UTSA - They have upside in FB now but the west sucks.
9. FIU - Can we ask them to leave?
10. FAU - Maybe drunk Kiffin can throw enough under the table cash to elevate them. That hype video gives off a lot of confidence.
11. UNT - Come on. Really?
12. Charlotte - Can we trade for Appy St.?
13. Rice - uh, yeah.
14. UTEP - Mexico's forgotten team. Aye ya yah!
8-14 is straight dead weight and is why there is no excitement in this league. Replace with ASU, Troy, Appy st., Ga Southern, and maybe a South Bama and then you have a pretty competitive football conference. Would be better than what we have now no doubt.
