Now if MT could get the gov to stop treating MT like the red headed stepchild from Wyoming in state higher ed. To the gov's credit, I suspect the change for universities out from under TBR to individual board of regents will likely benefit MT tremendously in the years to come. Even though MT was just one of the handful, I'll take what I can get at MT from the gov.

Seriously though, that basketball success reaps tons of benefits. It has to help the basketball program and the university to have the team up at the state capital as honored guests meeting the gov and legislators.
