. . . who happened to be a college football coach whose son was the QB wouldn't you move heaven and earth (or look under every rock - chose your own chiche) to surround him with players who would make his career (especially his Sr. year) successful and memorable?

Either Rick doesn't love Brent or he is a piss-poor recruiter and evaluator of talent.

If he and his staff were trying harder to recruit for his son then they were already doing, I would be pissed because that would mean were not giving 100% before. Historically CRS has not been the best recruiter, but pretty good at coaching up the talent they do bring in.
