Richie James has been named a freshmen all american( well deserved) and Brent was snubbed in favor of Josh Rosen

Rosen was named to the Freshman All-American team before the season even started. Brent had better stats across the board.

One a side note, what a diamond-in-the-rough James turned out to be. I remember when we signed him, it was down between us and Georgia Southern. When we ended up signing him, some GSU fans said no big loss. Got to think they are regretting not getting him now.

Since we've got a thread about calling things, I'd like to point out that in a poll posted before the season, I picked James as the breakout player for the year. I'll take my prize now!
