Seth played for the Blue Raiders from 2000 - 2003 or 2004. He was on the OL and played a little TE. He was one of my good friends back in those days. He came from Choctawhatchee High School in Fort Walton Beach, FL. He passed away October 20th. He had some rough patches in his life, but came away a better man. The last time I saw him was when I went up to a job interview in Seattle last year around this time. He had started his own training facility and seemed really passionate about it.
His dad had terminal cancer back in Fort Walton and I guess Seth thought it best to move everyone back to be closer to home during that time. Him and his wife weren't married yet and had set a date so that his dad could officiate, but his dad died before that happened. Seth and his wife had two boys that were spitting images of Seth.
Like many small business owners and people of his age, I don't think Seth had life insurance or any of the like, they have set up a gofundme page to help his wife and kids.
