McIntyre said some things he shouldn't have about how the program has never won and why are you questioning him.

Any movement on coordinators for us yet? lol

I can tell you with almost certainty these bozo's gave both new OC and DC 2 year deals, maybe even 3 knowing how dumb they are.

Which means they cannot afford to fire them, especially after having to pay out Stock's staff, no matter how bad the results may have been.

I could live with Bodie for one more season to give him another chance but it is the biggest mistake in the world to keep Brian Stewart around. He's so unbelievably washed up. If it were me I'm replacing both of them.

OU hired Arbuckle from Washington State. Quite the gamble in my opinion based on a very limited amount of experience.

When I heard Busters name I was shocked. That guy sucked here. I had no idea where he was until I saw him pop up while watching the games over the weekend. He was obviously trying to capitalize one his 10 minutes of fame and parlay it to a better job. OU dodged a bullet.

MTSU Football……..in coaching circles, the place where dinosaur coaches migrate to make their one final lick before retirement.

Think there is any validity of Chadwell leaving Liberty for UCF? Step up for sure, can't believe I'm saying that, but Liberty has money to match.

That's why I said no way he'd take WVU. Brown was making $4m. That's what LU pays Chadwell and he has a heck of a lot easier job at LU. I mean they haven't even played a P4 the past two years.

Not CUSA related, but Huff left Marshall for Southern Miss. Pay raise (base was $750k at MU) and he wasn't crazy about Huntington. WV native and former WVU & NC St DC Tony Gibson (Gibby) replaces him.

Tulsa just hired ETSU's Tre Lamb.

SHSU is still open, so is Ohio (Albin went to Charlotte) and UNLV (Odom to Purdue).

Chadwell is still high on WVU's list as is Rich Rod (due to donor support). I didn't want RR back as I dont think he threw the Pitt game that cost us a NC shot, but his mind wasn't 100% on the game either. I'm of the mindset, even for MT, I don't care if it is the coach of the national women's diving team, as long as they win.

Chadwell would be a home run.

I think RR would be a good get. I know he comes with some baggage, but what he did at JSU and even at Arizona shows that, on the field, the man knows what he's doing.

WVU is in a tough spot. They should be closer to the blue bloods based on tradition, support, etc. But it's hard not to see them as one of those Mizzou type teams that just has to work so much harder than everyone else due to recruiting territory, and such. But the B12 is absolutely winnable (where Mizzou ain't winning the SEC anymore), so who knows.

Why can we never get one of these hires? Someone with a name and some semblance of success.

Our administration just keeps shooting themselves in the foot year in and year out.

At one point, Rich Rod would have been considered a re-tread failure having been run out of Michigan as their worst coach ever, having personal issues at both Arizona and UM, etc, etc.

Everyone gets it wrong more often then they get it right. Is Mason the right guy? Iffy at this point. But you could at least see the logic.

Remember when they were dead set on hiring one of the worst re-tread college football coaches in history, Watson Brown ?

These bozo's have never been able to get it right.
Yes I remember that. I also remember researching Brown and my jaw dropping how terrible he was.

Very true...

I, like everyone else here, would like to be on the good side for once of a hire. Only time will tell if Mason is the right guy.
