I think it was hypothetical after the season once Brent is done with Football and not this season. At least that is how I interpreted it.

To be clear, I'm sure he'd rather be on the field trying to get one more win so my comment was mostly in jest, but I do think it would make for a more interesting storyline...

They could probably really do that unofficially and he could still play. I do think he has the mind to be a coach someday.

More or less. Franklin said last year when Brent was hurt that he essentially was part of the coaching staff then.
